Since December 2018, Nikolai Studenikin and his partner Franziska Groß have formed the Duo Studenikin. They perform with a wide-ranging program as both a guitar-violin duo and a guitar-vocal duo at private and public events, and regularly organize their own concerts.

About
Nikolai Studenikin, born in 1992 in Simferopol, Crimea, is an outstanding guitarist and guitar teacher. He began his musical education at the prestigious Gnessins College in Moscow, where he achieved first successes under the tutelage of Anastasia Bardina. In the following years, he continued his studies at the HfMT Köln/Aachen under the guidance of Prof. Hans-Werner Huppertz, graduating with top marks in both his Bachelor's degree in 2019 and Master's degree in 2022.
In addition to his intensive education, Nikolai Studenikin participated in numerous master classes, where he worked with renowned guitarists such as Aniello Desiderio, Scott Tennant, and Roman Viazovskiy. His exceptional talent and musical sensitivity brought him early success, such as winning the first prize of the "Guitar Plus" competition at the Twents Guitar Festival in Holland.
As an guitar teacher, Nikolai Studenikin has been active since 2010 and has been teaching in Germany since 2015 - currently at the Jugendmusikschule Heinsberg. His students appreciate his open and motivating approach, which inspires them to achieve their best.
Nikolai Studenikin performs as a soloist and in ensembles, captivating his audiences with his virtuosity and artistic expression. He is particularly known for his performances with singer and violinist Franziska Groß and guitarist Vladislav Fedorov.

Gitarrenduo Fedorov | Studenikin
Nikolai Studenikin and Vladislav Fedorov have known each other since their time studying in Moscow and have been performing successfully as a guitar duo for several years now. They are currently studying for a Master's degree in Chamber Music as a duo under the guidance of Prof. Hans-Werner Huppertz at the HfMT Cologne | Aachen. Their program is diverse and includes both original works for classical guitar duo as well as transcriptions for this instrumentation.
